NASA continues its 50th anniversary year long
celebrations with a schedule pitstop on Florida's Space Coast
on November 8 & 9. Kennedy Space Center will be the
celebration's headquarters as host of the 2nd Annual Space
& Air Show!
This year NASA has a special treat in store for spectators as the
world famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be on hand to perform,
which will mark a 30 year hiatus in which this team of elite pilots
last visited the Space Coast. The Blue Angels will perform their
usual high-speed passes, fast rolls, mirror formations, tight
turns, and their signature Delta formation.
On the ground, spectators will be treated to
aircraft displays and space-related exhibits. Also, the weekend
will include the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's inaugural
Astronaut Autograph & Memorabilia show featuring more than 20
astronaut legends from the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab &
Space Shuttle programs who will sign, pose and be on hand to
personally greet guests. For tickets visit www.KennedySpaceCenter.com
